Sinus Doctor in Manhattan and East Hampton, NY


Dr. Nass graduated from the NYU School of Medicine and completed both general surgery internship and otolaryngology (ENT) residency at the NYU-Bellevue-Manhattan VA Hospital System.He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of many professional organizations, and an Honorary Surgeon of the New York City Police Department.

He is a Clinical Associate Professor at the NYU School of Medicine. He has written peer-review articles and taught post-graduate medical courses in his sub-specialty area of Rhinology and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, teaches medical students and ENT resident physicians, and created and directs the Bellevue Hospital Otolaryngic Allergy Clinic.

He maintains private practices in both New York City and East Hampton, New York caring for patients of all ages with all types of ear, nose, and throat problems. He is an attending physician at the NYU-Langone Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital/Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital, Bellevue Hospital Center, and the Manhatttan VA Hospital in New York City and the Southampton Hospital on Long Island.


New York Office

Teri is our office manager. She has earned certificates in business administration, medical billing and coding, and in healthcare instruction. In addition to her "book knowledge" she has 20+ years of experience working in ENT offices. Her responsibilities have included telephone management, office and surgery scheduling, accounts receivable/billing and collections, "front-line" patient administration, and the training and management of office staff. She is a "people-person" who has been Dr. Nass' office manager since 2004.

Karen Greer is our audiologist.   She earned her Doctor of Audiology from the CUNY Graduate Center. While in training she worked at the Weill-Cornell Medical College, the NY Eye and Ear Infirmary, and the NY League for the Hard of Hearing.   Since graduating she has performed complete audio logical evaluations, patient counseling, and hearing aid fittings in private ENT offices, ENT clinics, and Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.  In addition to clinical testing, her duties at the College consist of teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in audiology.   She is well versed in all aspects of clinical audiology and has experience with patients of all ages.

Melissa Smith, Lisa Hopkins, and Stevie Ayala work in the East Hampton.   Melissa “meets and greets” patients and coordinates medical records and medical insurance matters.  Lisa and Stevie are medical assistants who assist Dr. Nass in a variety of ways pertaining to direct patient care.  The East Hampton office could not function without them.
